Hello everyone, Amber Speedcheck here at Whitecap NPI. Today, I want to talk about one of the unique features of our beautiful community—the series of interlacing canals that weave throughout Whitecap.
A common question I receive is: Can you navigate these canals by boat? The answer is a resounding yes!
Here’s how it works: The box culvert bridges, such as the ones along Aquarius, are designed strictly for water flow. These structures ensure smooth water movement and maintain the health of our canal system.
When it comes to navigating the canals, the seven internal bridges, including the one we’re at today, offer ample clearance for boats. These bridges have a clearance comparable to the newest Don Patricio bridge, providing residents easy access to the Gulf of Mexico.
